Teresa Arnandis
Scientist and Science Communicator with extensive experience in biomedical research, university teaching, and science outreach
She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Biomedicine Cum Laude from the University of Valencia. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a diploma in Optics and Optometry, both awarded with highest honors. In addition, she holds two Master’s degrees: one in Biomedical Research and another in Nutrition and Health. She has worked as a researcher at internationally renowned institutions such as the National Biotechnology Laboratory and the Barts Cancer Institute in London. She has received several awards for academic excellence and communication skills, and was included in Forbes’ list of Spain’s top science communicators.

Patricia Matey
Journalist Specialized in Health, Medicine, and Biomedicine, and Board Member of the National Association of Health Reporters (ANIS)
Graduated in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, she has been a journalist specializing in health, medicine, and bioscience reporting for 33 years. She began her career at the SALUD supplement of EL MUNDO, where she later coordinated the digital portals Child Psychiatry and Sexuality. She has contributed to various media outlets such as El País, La Joya, LVR Magazine, Muy Interesante, Cambio 16, Indagando TV, and El Confidencial, where she served as section chief for Alimente for four years. Her career has been recognized with journalism awards from the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology, the Spanish Association of Pharmaceutical Law, the Boehringer-Ingelheim Award, the Women’s Health Award, the Communication Award from the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid, and the Pfizer Journalism Award. She is currently responsible for the Cuídate+ section on healthy longevity at 65YMÁS.

Marcos Pérez
President of the Spanish Association of Science Communication (AEC2) and Director of the Coruñan Scientific Museums
He holds a degree in Physics. Between 1997 and 2017, he served as Technical Director of the Casa de las Ciencias in A Coruña, where he was responsible for the creation of exhibitions, educational programs, and content for the Planetarium. In 2017, he was appointed Director of the Municipal Network of Scientific Museums, which, in addition to the Casa de las Ciencias, includes the Domus and the Aquarium Finisterrae. In 2023, he was elected President of the Spanish Association of Science Communication. His professional goals focus on developing new science communication strategies, strengthening networks of professionals, and adapting science museums to a changing social environment.

Pablo Pérez
Scientific Director of the Maimonides Biomedical Research Institute of Córdoba (IMIBIC).
Professor of Medicine at the University of Córdoba and specialist in Internal Medicine at the Reina Sofía University Hospital. He obtained his PhD in Nutrigenomics from Tufts University (Boston). He leads research projects on the effects of lifestyle, particularly the Mediterranean diet, in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. In recognition of his career, he was awarded the Jesús Serra Research Prize in 2018. Furthermore, committed to scientific dissemination, Pablo actively promotes healthy habits through conferences and specialized media, contributing to the improvement of quality of life and public health policies.
