"Play me, I'm Yours" A Coruña

A Coruña was preparing to experience a unique day, where the sound of grand pianos was filled its central streets and squares. This initiative invited citizens and visitors to the city to approach music in a spontaneous and participatory way.

Originating from and rooted in the Maria Canals International Music Competition and extended throughout the country by Fundación Occident, this activity seeks to break down the barriers between the instrument and the public. By placing grand pianos out on the street, A Coruña joins this great celebration of culture, promoting musical diversity and allowing anyone, regardless of their background, to enjoy the experience of playing the instrument in an incomparable urban environment.

All citizens were invited to participate, whether by playing, accompanying the melodies with another instrument, or simply enjoying the music.
