The Foundation's activity consists of financing, promoting and disseminating teaching, academic and creative talent, financial education, entrepreneurial attitudes and new educational, technological and economic conditions.
Fundación Occident's Jesús Serra Degree Scholarships are grants for university studies for young people who want to be the first to overcome all the obstacles in their way. Scholarship holders will be the first in their family to pursue university studies or the first in their family to graduate with a STEM degree, while in addition to receiving financial support they can also benefit from the Scholarships' mentoring programme which is unique in Spain.
Together with the University of Deusto, we promote the Fundación Occident Scholarship program, offering scholarships to students with few resources but with an outstanding academic record.
We work together on the university grant programme for promoting equal opportunities in higher education and entrepreneurship in people with disabilities.
