Play me, I'm Yoursarrived in Girona

On 4 October 2024, Girona vibrated with the rhythm of pianos with a unique art installation that invited the public to share their love of music and the visual arts.

The idea of installing grand pianos in key points in the city centre, inviting the public to play, arose from the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona. Thanks to the collaboration of Fundación Occident, the art installation first arrived in Madrid in 2012. This now annual event allows cities to vibrate with the sound of pianos installed in outdoor spaces for residents and visitors to try out their favourite songs or sonatas.
