"Your city is full of pianos"is coming to Oviedo

Oviedo will become the stage for a unique day, where pianos will take over the streets and invite everyone to enjoy the music and melodies that flow from these magnificent instruments.

The innovative idea of placing grand pianos in key locations around the city for anyone to play originated with the Maria Canals International Competition in Barcelona. Thanks to the support of Fundación Occident, this initiative first came to Madrid in 2012. Since then, it has been held every year as a true celebration of music, diverse styles, and universal access to an instrument that, by its very nature, is not always within everyone’s reach.

The event will be held on 13 June 2025.
