Fundación Prevent.Lazos Grants
Fundación Prevent promotes, in collaboration with Fundación Occident, the Lazos Grants programme, helping adolescents with severe disabilities and their families towards obtaining higher education, as well as promoting the continuity of studies among young people with disabilities who are in compulsory education or that have prematurely dropped out.
Fundación Prevent's Lazos Grants work on eradicating the dropout rate in schools, supporting and motivating access to higher education and increasing access opportunities to the labour market. All this to achieve the following end goal: promote a transformation of the labour market towards the true inclusion of professionals with disabilities.
The programme offers a series of training workshops that provide the students with tools to envision and approach the inclusion in the labour environment in the future. The programme also includes a mentoring itinerary that supports these young students and brings them closer to the business world. Employees of Occident participate in this mentoring programme.
