Fundación Prevent Nova Grant

Nova Grants and the developmentof university talent

Nova Grants was designed with the aim of detecting talent among university students with disabilities in Spain, as well as guiding and connecting young people with companies, which involves training beyond the curricular itinerary.

Fundación Prevent supports and connects all university students with disabilities to related companies to work on social inclusion, reinforcing the commitment to continue facilitating access to the labour market for these young people. This is carried out with the purpose of avoiding their imminent exclusion from a labour market that, to this date, has been excluding of talent with disabilities.

And what are the goals of the Nova Grants Programme?

  • Providing new employment opportunities to young people with disabilities in the worst labour environment of the last 14 years, in order to achieve a positive impact on the emotional health of young people with disabilities, thus reversing their situation of isolation and distancing from the labour market.
  • Giving university students the opportunity to demonstrate the appropriate skills and attitudes to develop the talent needed to join the labour market.
  • Opportunities for shared knowledge between young people and companies, providing activities and spaces for the participants to show their vocation, orientation to employment, competences and commitment.
