We work tirelessly to provide comprehensive support to children in vulnerable situations, with a special focus on those facing poverty and social exclusion.

Featured projects for emotional and educational support

To help us achieve our goals, we have developed a series of projects in collaboration with organisations committed to children's wellbeing. These programmes are designed to offer comprehensive support and improve the quality of life for children at risk.

Save the Children Child Poverty Action Programme

In collaboration with Save the Children, we have developed the "Guaranteeing the right to education for the most vulnerable children" programme, which seeks to mitigate the effects of child poverty in Spain. This project focuses on providing educational and emotional support to the children who need it most, providing resources and tools that allow them to overcome the barriers that poverty imposes on their comprehensive development.

 

Save the Children: "A tu lado" programme

Through Save the Children's "A tu lado" programme, we provide direct support to families in vulnerable situations, helping to ensure that their children have access to education, food and emotional wellbeing, which are fundamental aspects for their comprehensive development.

 

Fundación Balia: Right to Leisure and Quality Education

Fundación Occident, in collaboration with Fundación Balia, develops projects that seek to guarantee the right to leisure and quality education for children in vulnerable situations. Through educational and recreational activities, they are provided with a safe environment where they can learn, play and grow, keeping them away from the risks of social exclusion. This project not only fosters their comprehensive development, but also strengthens their self-esteem and social skills, contributing to their emotional and academic wellbeing. As a result, Fundación Occident reaffirms its commitment to equity and support for at-risk children.

 

Collaboration with Fundación Pequeño Deseo

We also work with Fundación Pequeño Deseo to make the dreams of children with serious illnesses a reality. This project aims to offer moments of joy and hope that make a significant difference in their lives, improving their emotional wellbeing during a difficult time.

Fundación Abracadabra. Feel the magic

Fundación Occident, in collaboration with Fundación Abracadabra, uses magic as a tool to bring joy and hope to vulnerable groups in difficult situations, such as those in hospitals or those at risk of social exclusion. Through magic shows in hospitals, educational centres and nursing homes, they seek to relieve stress and improve emotional wellbeing in vulnerable groups, providing moments of wonder that contribute to their recovery and happiness in a positive way.
